Our solution was developed based on the fact that traditional deployment of geothermal power plants takes many years from project start to power online and requires large investments to complete.
We have responded to these challenges by offering container based geothermal units. With the GEG approach, boreholes can be harnessed at an earlier stage, usually within weeks after drilling has been completed, whereas the conventional approach requires borehole evaluation periods of 3-5 years before power production. Our units can operate stand-alone, but can also be organized in power farms of same capacity as large geothermal power plants.
Because of their small sizes, these units can be more easily adopted to the environment than large power plant structures. The GEG concept is to place a miniature power house in standard sized containers next to the production boreholes.
GEG’s on-surface units can be used for all types of Wet/Dry and Binary/Flash Geothermal Systems.
