Green Energy Group AS (GEG) is a Norwegian company headquartered in Oslo. Our focus is to provide modular geothermal plants which reduces capital expenses and project risk and allows for quicker payback on investment.
Since the company was founded in 2008, Green Energy Group has developed a unique power plant system that is prefabricated in ready modules and commissioned on site in a matter of weeks. GEG currently delivers geothermal wellhead power plants sizing from 3.2 MWe to 6.4 MWe per well. These plants can be scaled through several modules to hundreds of MWe.
Green Energy Group has an engineering department in Reykjavik, Iceland, where our core technical and R&D team is located. Our people have extensive experience within the geothermal field including design, engineering, project management and operation of geothermal plants. Green Energy Group also has offices in the UK and Kenya.
Our company works closely with selected subcontractors on different modules enabling GEG to provide Turn Key Geothermal power plants in a rapid scale-up. We also work together with local contractors in regards to site preparation and installation in those countries where we operate.
